Welcome to Lambkin Farm! My name is Lauren, your average first time mama who discovered a natural path to better sleep, pain management, and an overall smoother pregnancy, through the amazing benefits of magnesium supplementation.

About halfway through my second pregnancy with our second boy, I started to experience cramping, back pain, and the worst of all, restless legs. If I wasn't waking up in the middle of the night from a screaming one-year old, it was my restless legs. I was craving sleep, my body was craving sleep, we all were – and it showed!

After a few weeks of bloodshot eyes, I decided enough was enough: I was finding a solution to end my madness. I first started by taking a magnesium supplement before bed. It worked, but my tummy didn't like it very much – its has a diuretic effect if you know what I mean lol! I then stumbled on a recipe to make a magnesium lotion that skipped the digestive tract all together. And let me tell you.....​​​

With just a few simple, and clean ingredients, I made my first batch of lotion, and that very night, I slept like a baby - a baby not going through sleep regressions – a newborn baby! Finally, I was able to remember what a good night's sleep was! And even better, I put some on my little guy, and he started sleeping through the night! This was all thanks to a natural macro-mineral that I came to find many of us are deficient in. A win-win there!
